Making Momentum is a community interest company (CIC) established in Cheshire, 2019. We provide services for neurodivergent children, their families and those with other additional support needs.

Small group provision (School, Colleges, Home Education groups etc)
Set in a sensory rich environment in the Cheshire countryside, each session is bespoke, moving at the child’s pace and incorporating their specific needs. Activities include sensory work, assisted riding, horse care, games and Arts & Crafts. We can provide the opportunity for academic catch up in Core subjects, Art and Design qualifications and training towards industry recognised vocational equine qualifications.
Who we are
Alex and Leni have over two decades of combined teaching experience in a variety of educational settings. Leni was the Head of an enormously successful Art department in Trafford. An accomplished Ceramicist Leni has won several community arts awards and grants, including most recently a community commission for Mid Cheshire Railway. Alex is a Science teacher who specialises in Biology. She spent the latter half of her teaching career working in Alternative Provision settings. Alex has an MA in Autism Spectrum conditions. She is in receipt of a fully funded PhD scholarship through The White Rose Doctoral Training Programme. The focus of her work is utilising co-production to develop meaningful outcome measures for animal assisted interventions for Autism.
